We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our Portioning & Packing Area team.

The successful candidate will have experience handling, packing, cooking or prepping food and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include operating machines, assembling packaging, checking HACCP records, and performing QA checks.

Other duties may include picking/packing customer orders, general set up and pack down, and washing dishes and cleaning machines.

Our ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of food hygiene practices and excellent communication skills.

They will also be physically fit and strong enough to handle heavy lifting throughout the day (10-25kg repetitively).

Requirements
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a commercial food production environment.
  • A thorough understanding of food hygiene practices.
  • An enthusiastic, upbeat, and hardworking attitude.
  • Showing initiative and being proactive.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Reliability.
Benefits

Award Rates: $29.33 per hour. Five days per week, 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

As a member of our team, you will be working in a kind and caring environment with a small and friendly group of colleagues.

Our standard working hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 15-minute morning break and a half-hour lunch.
