Conveyor Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Technician to join our team at Allstar Recruitment Group. As a Conveyor Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belts and other industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Belt splicing, repairs, maintenance, and installations to fabric, ply, solid woven, and steel-cord belts.
  • Remove and replace belts without supervision.
  • Conduct belt audits to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate winches and winders to maintain and repair conveyor systems.
  • Set up and plan equipment for continuous operations.
  • Assist with creating splice reports to track maintenance activities.
  • Perform hot and cold repairs to conveyor belts and other equipment.
  • Apply mechanical clips to secure conveyor belts in place.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in conveyor maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with fabric, steel cord, solid woven, and ply belts.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and GSDU.
