**Job Overview**

We are a not-for-profit organisation that supports individuals living with a disability in the Warwick region of Queensland.

Our team is dedicated to promoting the inclusion and mutual responsibility of people with support needs within their chosen community.

As a Disability Support Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live their best lives and fulfill their goals and dreams.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide personal care and household support in home and where required transport our customers into the community for appointments and activities.

- Assist with all aspects of personal care including showering assistance, dressing assistance and hygiene needs, medication assistance, catheter care, manual handling (incl. hoist).

- Provide domestic support and household tasks, assist with meal preparation, support with assistive technology, support to appointments and grocery shopping.

- Follow and adhere to Positive Behaviour Support Plans for individuals and work as part of a team to provide quality support services.

**Requirements**

- Current First Aid Certificate (ability to obtain)

- Current CPR (annual) (ability to obtain)

- Current Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) (ability to obtain)

- Current Disability Services Positive Exemption Card (yellow card) (ability to obtain)

- Current Australian Driver's License

- Infection Control Training (ability to obtain)

- Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

- NDIS Online Module - Free and Easy to obtain.
