Job Overview

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronics Assembly Technician to work with our client's state-of-the-art equipment. As an integral member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production line. Your attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in tooling and fixtures will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Operate SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform PCB assembly tasks with precision and accuracy, utilizing various tools and machinery.
  • Swiftly replenish supplies and components to facilitate efficient job changeovers, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Conduct regular self-checks to maintain a defect-free work environment and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Surface Mount Technology operation, preferably in a similar production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, complemented by proficiency in tooling and fixtures, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting instructions, process documents, and drawings, with a focus on understanding technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, with experience in operating software related to electronics assembly and quality control.
