About the Role

The University of Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled Assurance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an assurance framework to support the Employee Payment Project, ensuring compliance with laws and University policies.
  • Conduct regular audits, reviews, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement preventative controls and process improvements.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in assurance, compliance, or auditing.
  • Proven experience in conducting reviews and audits, ideally within HR or employee relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex data and identify risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports.
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
