Product Specialist Role

 

Are you a technically skilled individual looking to transition into a product-focused role? Do you have experience working with suppliers and developing new products?

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a new career path. As a Product Specialist, you will be part of the merchandise team responsible for working closely with suppliers to identify innovations and improvements to existing and new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing product suitability and quality for the Australian/New Zealand markets
  • Providing insights to suppliers to develop new products
  • Working to understand customer needs and wants and identifying opportunities for improvement within our current product offering
  • Managing the product life cycle from inception through to end of life
  • Testing products and providing ongoing technical support to the store network and customer base
  • Working collaboratively with other departments and engaging stakeholders to ensure new products are delivered efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Technical skills gained from being on the tools
  • Developed business skills, preferably with advanced computer skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholders, build relationships, and deliver outcomes
