The Role:

The Lead Government Relations will develop and implement a global engagement strategy for international platforms in 30 identified countries.

This involves managing relationships with government officials and representatives at all levels, developing high-level stakeholder relationships, and negotiating to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive, multi-year global engagement strategy adaptable within changing international political landscapes.
  • Implement and manage international engagement activities and stakeholder programs on a strategic and practical level in multiple environments.
  • Manage international government and key stakeholder lifecycles by nurturing new and existing relationships.
  • Travel internationally to foster relationships, attend meetings, and represent Minderoo Foundation.
  • Scan and understand international landscapes to identify opportunities for influencing and protecting the Foundation's reputation.
  • Work with the External Affairs and Communications team to provide a coordinated government relations approach.

Qualifications:

A university degree qualification in Law, Politics/Policy, International Trade, Economics or a related discipline is required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a well-developed international network, excellent pitching, presenting, and public speaking skills, and highly organized time management skills.

You must also possess a solutions-oriented mindset, self-motivation, positivity, initiative, and a passion for embracing our philosophy and living our values.
