Automation Software Specialist

Our ideal candidate is an experienced automation software specialist with a strong passion for test automation and software testing methodologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient test scripts for web application testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient test scripts for web application testing using Playwright, Cypress, and Jest.
  • Leverage Selenium and Java for additional test automation tasks as required.
  • Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
  • Investigate test failures, log defects, and perform root cause analysis to improve existing test frameworks and automation tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with end-to-end test automation using Playwright.
  • Proficient in testing web applications using Cypress and Jest.
  • Experience with Selenium and Java for automated testing.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Relevant certifications in automation testing are a plus.
