Transport Planning Professional

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planning Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Transport Advisory team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of transportation systems.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of traffic engineering and transport planning principles, with experience in assessing and designing urban and regional transport systems. They will be able to provide advice on a range of services including traffic engineering assessment, land use/transport integration, approval processes and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced traffic engineering and management principles, with the ability to apply them to real-world projects.
  • Support the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects and national initiatives.
  • Provide technical and management support to the Transport Advisory team.
  • Identify opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and business units.
  • Generate new work and profitable business performance through client relationship management.
  • Nurture and develop individual staff members through effective coaching and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
  • Proven track record of delivering and managing transport projects.
