Job Opportunity

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania seeks a senior executive to lead the management of Tasmania's parks and reserves systems.

The successful candidate will provide strategic policy advice to the Deputy Secretary, the Secretary, and Ministers on key issues affecting the state's natural resources and environment.

The role requires an accomplished leader with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at all levels. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent level of skills, along with proven management experience in a large private or public sector organisation are desired.

This Senior Executive position offers a competitive remuneration package, incorporating salary ranging from $183,884 to $202,163 p.a., plus 12% superannuation and private use of a fully maintained vehicle.

  • Lead the Landscape Program team and central hub for statewide policy, planning, compliance, fire management, and specialist advice.
