Carer Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Carer Engagement Specialist. This position involves working with diverse stakeholders across the community to enhance social inclusion and advocacy for carers.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team that contributes to the development and delivery of group-based programs and engagement activities for carers. The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Health, Behavioural Science, Social Sciences or Welfare and experience in community engagement, event planning and project management.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team to achieve program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver group-based programs and engagement activities for carers
- Engage with carer support groups, partners and stakeholders across the community
- Contribute to the development and coordination of activities that promote social inclusion and advocacy for carers
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve program objectives
