SAP Security Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Security Consultant to lead the security design and strategy for a major SAP S/4HANA transformation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Security design, role strategy, and access management. They will also have proven delivery across SAP S/4HANA, Fiori Launchpad, BTP, Concur, SAC, and other integrated tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and driving the end-to-end delivery of security design, implementation, testing, and transition to BAU. This will involve collaborating across business and technology teams, as well as guiding offshore security resources through the design and build phases.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Security Design and Implementation:
  • Refine scope and validate requirements for SAP security and access design.
  • Design and validate SAP ECC role structures, plus any new roles driven by BPML (Signavio).
  • Create secure roles across S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, SAC, Concur, LeanIX, CALM, and Rev-Trac.
  • Design user lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, superuser/firefighting access).
Role Strategy and Access Management:
  • Partner with business process and control teams to ensure SOD compliance.
  • Oversee and review offshore security resource deliverables (role builds and ongoing maintenance).
  • Lead role testing across unit, integration, and UAT phases.
  • Collaborate with SailPoint vendor for identity automation integration.
Continuous Improvement and Maintenance:

The successful candidate will also provide expertise on continuous improvement and secure role maintenance.
