Premium Auditor

As a premium auditor, you will examine the financial records of businesses to ensure they are following laws and regulations. This includes looking for evidence of fraud and checking that insured businesses adhere to these regulations.

  • Conduct insurance audits by examining policyholder's records and applying rules and standards.
  • Determine necessary information and type of records needed for the audit.
  • Create a schedule to maximize optimal use of time.
  • Correspond with insured via phone and email to setup audit appointments.
  • Analyze data to determine correct classifications for business activities and write an effective description of operations.
  • Prepare complete audit document and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Travel to multiple locations for on-site audits.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent plus two years' experience in premium auditing highly desired.
  • Ability to read and analyze financial documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
