About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our television rating data delivery systems, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business needs and requirements.
  • Analyze and improve our application architecture to deliver business optimization.
  • Design and develop large and complex programs in Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • Commercial experience and solid knowledge in Python language.
  • Exposure to data processing and modeling.
  • Experience in AWS services and application development: Athena, Glue, PySpark.
  • Knowledge and experience with Linux and bash scripting.
  • Database queries (SQL), development, and database design.
  • Working knowledge of source control such as Git.
  • Experience with XML.
  • Project Management to the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost.
