Job Role

The Whole of Family Team Mental Health Clinician is a vital position within our organization, playing a crucial role in delivering trauma-informed interventions for children, adolescents, and their families. This individual will address mental health concerns, child protection issues, and alcohol and other drug challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical interventions primarily within the family home to support children, young people, and their families.
  • Provide trauma-informed care and de-escalation during crises, ensuring families feel heard, supported, and safe.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, being directly line managed by the CAMHS CCI, Special Programs and Partnership Manager; receive guidance from the Whole Family Team Clinical Leader and experienced clinicians.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and access to ongoing training and educational programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A qualification in one of the following fields: Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology/Psychology in Training, Nursing, Social Work, Counsellor (Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health or Djirruwang Program), Nutrition and Dietetics, or other eligible qualifications with membership/registration as applicable.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and interstate, and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
