Project Director

About the Role: Davidson is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the Fee for Service (FFS) project. This critical initiative aims to overhaul the current FFS operating model, driving performance and ensuring services provide value that supports healthcare delivery across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement New Business Processes: Create and implement end-to-end FFS business support processes and templates, integrating a workflow automation tool for a seamless customer experience.
- Enhance Administrative Efficiency: Streamline FFS administration functions, including timesheet recording, costing, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and supplier reconciliation, across all activities.
- Resource Consolidation: Unify all existing FFS business support resources into a single team for comprehensive support across all areas involved in FFS activities.
Desired Skills: Project management qualifications are highly regarded. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, consultation, and communication skills for managing a diverse stakeholder group.
About You:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience in engaging and managing a large, diverse, and invested stakeholder group.
- Vendor Management: Expertise in guiding and facilitating vendor activities to ensure alignment with project goals and optimal outcomes.
- Advanced Project Management: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to sustain project progress under challenging conditions.
- Governance and Reporting: Proficiency in monitoring and reporting on all aspects of project performance to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and inspiring teams within dynamic and fast-paced project environments.
- Adaptability: Familiarity with Public Health ICT project methodologies, coupled with the ability to adapt to specific in-house processes.
