Cyber Security Analyst

About the Role
Cyber Security Analysts play a critical role in protecting Asahi Beverages' operations from cyber threats. In this key position, you will lead the detection, analysis, and response to cyber incidents across our operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and manage day-to-day incident response activities.
- Conduct thorough analyses of security events to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
- Test and tune existing detection algorithms and develop new detection and prevention mechanisms.
- Proactively test security controls.
- Monitor open source security intelligence to alert the business.
- Provide technical leadership and support for security tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and foster collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
- Ensure all operational, regulatory, and service-level security requirements are consistently met across the organisation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have demonstrated experience in detecting and responding to cyber threats, ideally within a large-scale enterprise or technology-driven environment. You will possess a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and collaboration. You'll also bring:
- Previous experience in security operations, including incident detection, analysis, and response.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM solutions, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management systems.
- A strong technical background in conducting threat assessments and root cause analyses to improve security controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- A solid understanding of security standards and best practices relevant to cybersecurity.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, focused on continuous improvement and enhancing the organisation's security posture.
