  • Ensure data integrity: Oversee the security and integrity of all data stored on mine planning software systems.
  • Design and planning: Develop mine design, planning guidelines, and strategies to optimize mining processes and improve efficiency.
  • Development planning: Incorporate short, medium, and long-term planning requirements into development planning to ensure seamless execution.
  • Schedule preparation: Oversee the preparation of schedules to meet forecasts and ensure timely completion of development projects.
  • Development Mine Instructions: Supervise the preparation and approval of mine development Mine Instructions to facilitate schedules.
  • Forecasting and planning: Compile forecasts and Life of Mine plans to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Cost management: Review costs for Life of Mine Plan and develop cut-off grades for Ore Reserve Estimations to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Reporting and metrics: Prepare weekly reporting metrics for the Underground Manager to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the mining industry with a broad range of underground mining technical and management skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
  • Certifications: WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate (desirable).
  • Software skills: Competent using Deswik.

Working Conditions:

  • Work type: Permanent.
  • Duty roster: FIFO 4/4th 8:6.
