We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team, providing supports to NDIS participants in the Wollongong, Nowra & Caringbah region.

Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver life-changing support that can improve independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services
  • Assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and meet their goals
  • Mentoring and nurturing early career clinicians
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Proven experience working with adults with disability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
