As a Cybersecurity Leader, you will be responsible for leading the operational cybersecurity for a Defence Science and Technology Group, within an overall Defence cybersecurity framework. Your role will involve preserving from compromise the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
This is a career-defining opportunity to lead a team of 15 cybersecurity professionals covering key functional roles:
- Developing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and achieving formal Assessment and Authorisation of digital research systems.
- Planning, development, integration and deployment of advanced cybersecurity assurance tools and methods to secure digital research systems.
- Managing cybersecurity incident response, developing advanced cyber skills and tools to enable sophisticated hunt missions, advanced log analysis capability, and advanced vulnerability analysis.
The ideal candidate will be recognised as an authority in applying world-leading cybersecurity management techniques, including capability, governance, risk management and compliance, to complex heterogeneous research environments.
About this RoleYou will be working with a team of 15 cybersecurity professionals who cover various areas of expertise. Your leadership skills will be essential in driving the team's performance and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
