Technical Fleet Operations Specialist

About the Role
The Fleet Technical Officer is responsible for providing expert advice and support on fleet procurement undertakings. This role works autonomously, under the supervision of a coordinator, and has responsibility for tender and contract management processes relating to fleet purchasing and workshop activities.
This position plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with legislative and city-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

- To manage tender and contract processes related to fleet purchasing and workshop activities
Requirements:
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Possesses tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience
- Has experience in fleet management
- Is familiar with local government procurement practices
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills
- Demonstrates strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Has intermediate skills using MS Office Suite
- Holds a 'C' Class Driver's Licence
