About the Role

The Safety and Quality Leader will work with the Director of Clinical Services to support Patient Safety operations and ensure all department activities are in compliance with national standards. You will oversee hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient-centered care is provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Governance:
  • Patient Safety practices and procedures aligned with ACHS EQuIP and National standards
  • Hospital Policies and Procedures: Drafting, reviewing, and implementing
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Tertiary Qualification in Management or working towards
  • Post Grad qualification desirable
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge:
  • Current patient safety and quality improvement methodologies
  • Medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
