About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network, providing mental health nursing care in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will be accountable for their own practice standards and activities delegated to others, while also guiding and developing less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide recovery-oriented consumer support in a community setting
  • To assess individual consumers' needs, plan, and implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options
  • To manage and educate consumers on medication
  • To apply foundation theoretical knowledge and evidence-based guidelines to achieve agreed consumer care outcomes
Requirements
  • Demonstrated competence in a community setting
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in assessment, planning care, evaluation of care, and counseling
  • Experience in basic computing skills
  • Experience in a broad range of mental health clinical settings
  • Familiarity with administering Long Acting Injection - desirable (training provided)
Qualifications
  • Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and holds a current practicing certificate
  • Hold a qualification in mental health nursing equivalent to a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing

Estimated Salary: $84,870 - $107,279 p.a., plus superannuation and salary packaging.
