Construction Legal Expert

About the Role
This in-house construction legal counsel position will see you working with the Project Legal & Commercial team to support complex construction claims, disputes, and other project matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice to all Project areas, including commercial, environmental, health & safety, and HR teams.
- Drafting and reviewing upstream (employer) and downstream (subcontractors) variations, EOT claims and legal/commercial correspondence.
- Assisting with strategies and negotiation in respect of disputes and claims, including project management of dispute avoidance and dispute resolution processes.
- Liaising with key stakeholders in the commercial teams, as well as the broader business.
- Supporting external law firms overseeing litigation matters, by providing instructions and responding to information requests.
