Policy Development and Strategic Outcomes Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Development and Strategic Outcomes Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving policy development and strategic outcomes in the renewable energy space.

This is a 12 month labour hire contract opportunity that will challenge your strategic acumen and policy expertise, allowing you to make a real impact on our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, analyse, and advise on gas market issues, shaping the strategic direction.
  • Communicate complex issues succinctly to non-expert audiences, including senior executives, through briefings and submissions.
  • Identify issues, efficiencies, and opportunities for reform, recommending innovative solutions using critical thinking and sound judgement.
  • Develop productive relationships, work collaboratively, and negotiate outcomes with colleagues and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead small teams, projects, or workstreams, supervising staff and maximizing team performance.
  • Policy Expertise: Experience providing advice on complex policy, regulatory, or coordination matters, working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research Skills: Ability to investigate and source key information to support decision-making processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: A commitment to continuous improvement and a positive response to change.
