We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Windows upgrade project for our commercial client. This 24-month fixed-term contract offers the opportunity to take ownership of a large-scale project and drive user adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Windows upgrade project from Windows 7 to Windows 11.
  • Ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the deployment of the upgrade across all departments.
  • Drive user adoption by implementing effective change management and communication strategies.
  • Review and optimize Windows delivery models to ensure smooth implementation and post-rollout support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within IT projects.
  • Must have proven experience delivering large-scale Windows upgrade projects (Windows 7, 10, or 11).
  • Strong understanding of deployment strategies and delivery models for operating system upgrades.
  • Experience in driving and managing change in a large organisational setting.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to meet project goals.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are desirable.
