Channel Sales Manager

About the Role
Leverage your sales expertise to drive business growth and market expansion as a Channel Sales Manager with LexisNexis Legal & Professional. In this 12-month contract role, you will set up new channel partners, prospect for and close sales opportunities in white space and SME markets.
Based in Sydney or Melbourne CBD, you will report directly to the Head of Sales – Regulatory Compliance and enjoy flexible work-life balance arrangements.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive new business acquisition and market penetration.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in channel partners to expand penetration and lead generation.
- Increase partner engagement with LNRC marketing to deliver higher volumes of joint marketing and promotion of the LNRC solution.
- Manage partner relationships and achieve monthly new POS targets through SME sales.
- Collaborate with sales teams within channel partners to demonstrate, train, and advise their client base on the LNRC solution.
- Create and manage lead generation campaigns within partner sales teams.
- Leverage joint marketing campaigns and events to increase brand presence and lead generation.
- Conduct ongoing client visits with counterparts within partner organizations and measure success through NPS and account reviews.
Your Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, with at least 2 years in a Channel Management or similar role.
- Demonstrated performance against sales objectives.
- Experience in high-level account management, client relationship development, and channel management.
- High-level presentation skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with staff at all levels within an organization.
- Strong numeracy skills and well-developed verbal communication skills.
- Solution selling experience is critical.
- Highly developed computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and databases.
Salary: AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, plus benefits such as discounted health plan rates, life assurance, and income protection.
