Job Overview

The Early Childhood Development Division has been established to create a more equitable future for all children in South Australia by implementing key recommendations.

This includes providing universal access to quality preschool, developing a skilled early childhood workforce, and supporting families during their child's 1000 days of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver policy and project initiatives to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice based on best practice and stakeholder input to inform policy and project decisions.
  • Analyze data and produce reports to support management decision-making.
  • Manage contract and grant processes, including developing specifications and monitoring deliverables.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals.
Diversity Focus Role

One role will focus on contributing to governance, project delivery, and strategic policy development relating to Aboriginal children, families, and communities.

  • Develop and deliver policy, project, and change management functions to achieve positive outcomes for Aboriginal peoples.
  • Analyze data and produce reports to support management decisions.
  • Manage contract and grant processes, including developing specifications and monitoring deliverables.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sustaining partnerships with Aboriginal families and communities.
