About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with experience in roads, drainage, and pavement projects to join our team in Armadale, Perth. As a key member of our public infrastructure project, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time, quality, and budget objectives safely.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the achievement of our safety targets and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe and environmentally conscious working practices.
- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure project plans are implemented in accordance with designs and specifications.
- Provide project engineering support to the construction teams to facilitate the construction process.
- Monitor and report work progress regularly.
- Collaborate with construction crews to collect data for project status, cost reporting, and forecasting.
- Support the development and communication of work packages for site construction crews.
- Assist with technical queries and provide direction and supervision for Site Engineers as required.
- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering with experience working as a Project Engineer for Tier 1 Construction Contractors.
- Experience in roads, drainage, and pavement projects on large-scale public infrastructure and rail projects.
- A strong commercial acumen and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- A high attention to detail.
