About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with experience in roads, drainage, and pavement projects to join our team in Armadale, Perth. As a key member of our public infrastructure project, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time, quality, and budget objectives safely.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the achievement of our safety targets and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe and environmentally conscious working practices.
  2. Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure project plans are implemented in accordance with designs and specifications.
  3. Provide project engineering support to the construction teams to facilitate the construction process.
  4. Monitor and report work progress regularly.
  5. Collaborate with construction crews to collect data for project status, cost reporting, and forecasting.
  6. Support the development and communication of work packages for site construction crews.
  7. Assist with technical queries and provide direction and supervision for Site Engineers as required.
Requirements
  • A degree qualification in Civil Engineering with experience working as a Project Engineer for Tier 1 Construction Contractors.
  • Experience in roads, drainage, and pavement projects on large-scale public infrastructure and rail projects.
  • A strong commercial acumen and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A high attention to detail.
