Role Overview

The Merchandise Stocker is a key member of our warehouse team, responsible for maintaining high product levels and adhering to merchandising standards. This role involves stocking and straightening merchandise for sale, cleaning aisles, and assisting members. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Stocking and straightening merchandise for sale to maintain visual appeal and maximize sales
  • Cleaning aisles and ensuring a tidy and organized store environment
  • Communicating with supervisors to determine merchandising plans and priorities
  • Maintaining high product levels and adhering to merchandising standards to drive sales growth

Daily Tasks and Expectations

As a Merchandise Stocker, you will work closely with your team to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment. Your tasks may include:

  • Assisting forklift drivers to maintain fall-danger zones and prevent accidents
  • Using manual pallet jacks to move and position merchandise efficiently
  • Wrapping and tagging pallets for return to optimize stockroom operations
  • Making product displays accessible and attractive to drive customer engagement
  • Providing excellent customer service and supporting members with loading large items into their carts

Additional Requirements

While performing these duties, you may also be required to assist with front-end duties, create computer-generated signs, or support other areas of the warehouse as needed.
