Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Restaurant Cashier. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to achieve sales targets and provide a seamless dining experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably as a cashier or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Basic knowledge of POS ordering systems and cash handling procedures
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
