Renewable Energy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Engineer to join our team at Capstone, a leading organization in the energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing renewable energy solutions, working closely with our Land Acquisition team to identify and lease strategically located charging sites across the country.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Renewable Engineer will be responsible for:
- Conducting desktop evaluations and field inspections to identify suitable locations for renewable energy installations
- Producing initial site plans based on site inspection reports and stakeholder feedback
- Preparing and submitting DNSP enquiries and applications for proposed renewable energy installations
- Engineering document control and management
The Senior Renewable Engineer will take on additional responsibilities, including:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with DNSPs to ensure collaborative success in ongoing renewable energy programs
- Supporting the delivery of renewable energy installations by facilitating DNSP workflows between Engineering and Delivery teams
To be successful in this role, applicants must have at least 3 years' experience in the design of:
- Battery Storage Systems
- Photovoltaic Systems
- Solar Energy Solutions
- Microgrids
- Connection approvals with DNSPs
Experience with EV charging stations is highly desirable but not essential.
