Job Title: Laboratory Operations Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Laboratory Operations Specialist. This role will involve coordinating and executing essential laboratory operations in the Pilbara region and surrounding areas.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting samples from various sources, including water, soil, and sewage.
  • Maintaining all sampling and laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Performing quality control checks and collecting required quality control samples as requested.
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS.
  • Arranging field consumables, sampling media, and equipment as required for each job.
  • Preparing job safety analyses and risk assessments for each allocated job.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree qualification in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven technical skills in the mining sector, with experience as a Field Sampling Technician.
  • Experience in customer service and client communication.
  • A C-class manual driver's license.
  • 4WD training.
  • Senior First Aid certification.
