About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. You will be responsible for operating ICPMS instrumentation, performing calibration and maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accurate results.
Main Responsibilities- Sample Analysis: Conduct analysis of geochemical samples using ICPMS instrumentation to deliver high-quality results.
- Instrumentation Maintenance: Perform regular calibration and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve instrument/quality issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Review raw data and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Client Satisfaction: Meet client turnaround times and exceed expectations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification or Diploma in a chemistry-related field.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Previous experience with similar instrumentation is desirable.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
