The hospital is Tasmania's largest, with 550 beds and over 3000 employees. It is accredited with RACP and works closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions, providing specialist services to a population of around 250,000 people.
About the Role
As a General Medicine Registrar, you will work as part of a traditional firm of doctors, including consultants, other registrars, medical officers, and interns. The shift pattern will depend on your rotation, but generally includes a combination of days, evenings, and nights over a 7-day week.

About the Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent degree
- Currently hold AHPRA Registration or eligible to obtain
- IMGs that have Completed the UK Foundation Programme
- OTP/SIMGs that have been assessed by the RACP College as partially or substantially comparable (OTP currently interviewing with RACP may express their interest)
- IMGs that have completed at least AMC MCQ (part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2
- IMGs eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (NZ, UK, Canada, Ireland, USA)
