A reputable Civil Contractor is seeking a Civil Site and Project Engineer to join their established team in the Wagga Wagga / Canberra / ACT area. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own section of works on civil projects, including roads, subdivision, earthworks, and civil projects.

About the Role

The Civil Contractor is an established Civil Engineering Contractor with millions of dollars worth of ongoing projects in the ACT region. They are looking for an Engineer with previous experience in roads, subdivisions, earthworks, bridgework, and complex civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on civil engineering and be able to work on projects with an emphasis on complex civil works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage their own section of works on civil projects
  • Work on roads, subdivision, earthworks, and civil projects
  • Collaborate with a talented and professional team of individuals
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S policies
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience in civil projects worth over $5m in value
  • Strong leadership skills and high level of organisation
  • Ability to work and communicate as part of a team
  • Exceptional understanding of OH&S policies
