Job Title

Job Description

This role involves supporting and implementing the strategic priorities of the school, driving pedagogical vision, and leading staff in the implementation of new curriculum and initiatives. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to excellence, a passion for teaching and learning, and the ability to promote assessment practice, data analysis, and feedback to enhance learning.

The ideal candidate will be able to establish a positive relationship with students, their families, and the broader community, while also building opportunities to enhance curriculum for students outside of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sustain high levels of personal and professional integrity.
  • Promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis, and feedback to enhance learning.
  • Drive the pedagogical vision of the school within the broader educational life of the school.
  • Lead staff in the implementation of new curriculum and initiatives in K-2.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant will require:

  • An understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches for primary years learners.
  • Knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas.
  • A natural aptitude and drive to work with and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Well-developed communication, administration, and interpersonal skills.
