Job Description:

The role of a Balance Sheet Analyst involves working in a high-performing team with access and exposure to senior leadership. The successful candidate will contribute to the strategy and execute day-to-day tasks related to Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and balance sheet modelling processes.

This is an opportunity to drive margin optimisation through analysis of product pricing, portfolio mix, rate changes and customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the Net Interest Income (NII) & FTP frameworks that underpin the bank's internal view of margin performance.
  • Drive margin optimisation by analysing product pricing, portfolio mix, rate changes and customer behaviour.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Risk and business units to align FTP and forecast assumptions with market rates, hedging strategies and interest rate risk positions.
  • Assist with technical implementation of model and methodology changes to reflect updated product behaviour, interest rate assumptions, or liquidity cost allocations.
  • Work collaboratively with Technology to ensure stability of the system.
