About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager Assistant to join our team at Telstra. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in executing the store strategy and leading a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and high standards of customer service.
  • Coach and develop a team of retail consultants to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Resolve customer issues and provide creative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create a high-performing team and foster a positive store culture.
  • Organise the store floor and team's work schedules to meet customer demand.

About You:

  • You have previous experience in a retail leadership or assistant management role.
  • You are able to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success.
  • You lead from the front and are able to influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team.
  • You are an excellent communicator who can help support the Store Manager in taking team members through change.
