We are seeking a highly skilled Information Governance Specialist to lead our evolving data and analytics ecosystem. This role will be the core of our information management program, ensuring that our information assets are managed securely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
As the key contact for information governance, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to enhance awareness, implement governance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement in information management.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to support organisational goals.
- Evaluate and mitigate governance-related risks associated with data retention, privacy, and security regulations.
- Collaborate with Technology, Legal, and other business units to maintain robust data security and privacy measures.
- Lead the development and implementation of classification, storage, and disposal processes for information assets.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders and information custodians on their governance responsibilities.
- Conduct data mapping exercises and maintain accurate information asset registers to improve accessibility and control.
- Continuously assess and refine governance frameworks based on evolving business needs.
