Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist Anaesthetists with ongoing patient care throughout the intraoperative phase, prepare equipment for allocated operating lists, and maintain clinical skills to manage patient health problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Anaesthetists with patient care during surgeries
  • Prepare and check equipment before procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient operating room environment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a Diploma Qualification in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent experience, well-developed interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication, problem-solving ability, and flexibility with rostering and commitment to teamwork.
