Job Description

The Department of Justice and Community Safety delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.

This role is responsible for the development of new application components and work packages for existing or new APEX/oracle applications.

  • Complete the design, development and delivery of Oracle Apex related software (web app, mobile) to meet the needs of business units.
  • Ensure that the specification and design of Oracle Apex related software changes meet the defined business needs, align with enterprise and solution architectures and complies with standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deliver Oracle Apex related software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet business needs.
  • Integrate software solutions with existing systems such as OCI, AWS, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Resolve, .NET, and webMethods.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Produce complex documentation in accordance with quality review standards such as technical specifications, solution design, release and deployment instructions, procedures, user & support manuals and work packages.
