About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Systems Administrator to join our team at Collins Foods Limited. This role is pivotal in overseeing payroll, time and attendance, and award interpretation projects.

In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the Payroll Manager with weekly payroll functions, including exception checking, running of the payroll, and reporting. You will also be responsible for testing new releases for our recently implemented time & attendance system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data analysis and report writing
  • Responding to queries, including award interpretation and system advice
  • End of month processing as required
  • Documenting payroll and system related procedures and checklists as required

As a seasoned Payroll Systems Administrator, you will have previous experience in high-volume payroll environments (5000+ employees) and demonstrate a high degree of comfort in working with payroll (Preceda preferred) and time & attendance systems.

You will also possess a sound knowledge of payroll related legislation, including superannuation, tax, and Fair Work. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be paramount in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll systems.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Solid experience working in payroll systems (Preceda preferred but not essential)
  • A high level of numeracy and analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with documenting payroll procedures
  • Experience with payroll reporting tools e.g., Crystal reporting

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $80,000 - $110,000 depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
