The Role of Marketing Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in the delivery of our shared platform services to both AFL/Marvel and several clubs utilizing the platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing solutions that fulfill business requirements and functions, collaborating with internal delivery teams and stakeholders through different stages of delivery, and building a solution with quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Development
    • Designing solutions that meet business requirements and functions
    • Developing solutions with consideration of current tech and data landscape and long-term strategy
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
    • Working with internal delivery teams and stakeholders through different stages of delivery
    • Collaborating with delivery team and stakeholders on solution estimates and phasing based on resources and dependencies
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting
    • Supporting production issues and requests, creating Standard Operating Procedures
    • Assisting in training internal Marketing Cloud users and actively promoting adoption
  • Data Management
    • Managing bulk data queries, creation and update requests
    • Contributing to CRM team changes review, improving governance and best practice standards

Requirements:

  • Experience and Skills:
    • At least 4 years of experience in implementing Marketing Cloud solutions
    • Strong understanding of marketing automation principles and best practices
    • Experience in solutioning and performing assessments on delivery options
  • Certifications and Education:
    • Formal Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification advantageous
  • Personal Qualities:
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to handle multiple task assignments and work independently

Salary: AU$95,000 - AU$115,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
