About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Assistant to join our team at Bodington, our 120-bed home in Wentworth Falls. As an Aged Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including assisting with laundry and housekeeping
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in Aged Care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Updated knowledge on HSW guidelines and HACCP requirements
  • NDIS check or willingness to obtain
