About this role
I-MED Northeastern Region is seeking an experienced and qualified Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to fill a challenging position at Boronia. As a senior sonographer, you will work closely with the clinic teams, teaching teams, and Ultrasound Coordinator to achieve a consistently high standard of patient care while reaching productivity targets.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring the provision of the highest quality patient care possible.
- Mentoring and coaching of less experienced staff and students.
- Developing and supporting effective working relationships with external stakeholders.
- Monitoring compliance with I-MED's Work Health & Safety policies.
Core Competencies:
- Demonstrated ability to perform all ultrasound examinations within designated time frames.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the I-MED Vision and Values.
What we are looking for:
- Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
- Previous experience in sonography in a busy clinic and hospital environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff.
