The ACT Government's Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate is seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Leader to join our Safety and Wellbeing team.
About the RoleThis role supports the ongoing administration and implementation of our corporate work health and safety management system, delivers wellbeing programs, and promotes psychosocial safety in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate non-operational safety incidents
- Create and update policies and procedures
- Support WHS training and coordination
- Co-ordinate WHS Committees and the Health and Safety Representative (HSR) network
- Tertiary qualifications in work health and safety and/or risk management (Cert IV, Diploma)
- Completed ICAM training
- Internal Auditor Training (ISO 19011:2018)
- Driver licence
