As a Medical Gas Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering medical gases and equipment to healthcare facilities and patients in their homes. This role requires pride in being the face of our company, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver medical gases to doctors, dentists, and residential aged care facilities
- Visit patients to deliver medical equipment, medical gas cylinders, and other medical supplies
- Set up and maintain medical equipment, educating patients on its use
- Diagnose and provide replacements for defective units
- Administer tasks, including stock management
Requirements:
- Experience and confidence operating a commercial vehicle in a safe manner
- Safe driving technique, knowledge of Dandenong and surrounding areas
- Reasonable fitness: comfortable moving cylinders and medical equipment weighing 4-25kg
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate
- Valid Australian open driver's license (manual license highly regarded)
- High-level communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, contributing to team goals and objectives
- Flexibility with rostering, including on-call
- Experience in healthcare-related logistics/patient care favorable but not required
