Job SummaryWe are seeking an Insurance Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of all aspects of the SG Fleet Insurance portfolio. This includes effectively liaising with internal and external customers to drive the growth of the insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the wider insurance department, ensuring the use of all relevant IT systems, project-related activities, and system testing.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to drive the growth of the insurance portfolio.
- Assist with underwriting activities, including loss performance analysis for new proposals and renewal invitations for existing business.
- Monitor the performance of SG Fleet's Motor Vehicle Insurance Suppliers, conducting regular reviews, checks, and audits of claim-handling accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on Fleet & Premium, including reforecasting and reporting for SG Fleet Insurance.
- Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail.
- Proven planning and monitoring skills.
- Ability to facilitate productive working relationships to ensure successful project outcomes and adherence to timelines.
- Critically analyses information and solves problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, financial and commercial astuteness.
- Solid MS Suite skills.
- Actively shares knowledge and creates useful internal and cross-functional relationships.
- Creates teamwork, is flexible, and maintains an organized, open, and approachable working style.
- Analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, including consultation, liaison, and negotiation to support stakeholders.
- Develops and demonstrates strong personal technical skills and knowledge and is thorough and accurate with all work outputs.
