We are seeking a skilled Trade Assistant to join our team at Newmont Mining. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fixed plant assets.
Key Responsibilities- Support trades personnel in all aspects of maintenance and repair of fixed plant assets
- Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently through quality and effective work
- Collaborate with the Supervisor Maintenance Conveyors to prioritize and manage maintenance tasks
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our CMMS system and basic computer skills
- Experience in a similar role supporting maintainers
- Previous experience in manual handling, physical labor, and working at heights
- Experience in rigging, dogging, and high-risk work activities
- A current C-class driver's license and High-Risk Licenses and Tickets
